There is Beauty in the Breaking

02/22/2022 portal

For those of you that follow my social pages, you likely saw the very cool, very beautiful things that happened to me on the 02/22/2022 portal. For those of you that haven't been following along, this signifies this past February 22nd. There was significant power in ethers; things were aligned not only numerologically but astrologically. This portal held really strong energy symbolizing the end of old cycles and the rebirth of new energy coming within partnerships, in love, and understanding Self. It was a very exciting day for all of those in the spiritual world.

After completing a session that day, I packed up my bowls and headed home to prepare for another session in the Chamber. When I got home and unpacked my bowls, one of my three root chakra bowls broke. Now, this particular root chakra bowl was the first-ever bowl I purchased following my first ever sound bath session. This specific bowl triggered fear inside me, and I was curious to dig deeper and determine what was going on and heal from that.

The Root Chakra

If you don't know, the root chakra is the base of the spine, which signifies our grounding and the root of who we are. It is associated with early childhood development, housed within the legs. So if you have a hard time accessing your legs, like you know they are there, but you can't really feel them, you likely have some unmet childhood needs and childhood trauma that you have not unpacked yet.

I didn't have access to my legs or my root chakra. When the root chakra is out of alignment, you will notice the inability to have embodied contact with the legs or the base of your spine; you may experience uneasy feelings, extra aggression, a dominating ego, and you may be easily defensive. This described me before sound healing, approximately four years ago, signifying my root chakra was out of alignment.

The Beauty

Circling back, not only did my very first bowl break, but it broke on the most significant day of cycles ending. At first, I thought, "oh man, what a bummer," but I wasn't mad or upset, and I felt zero aggression towards the situation, simply confirming that the cycle was ending for me.

When you work with crystals, and they have served their purpose, and when their job has been completed, it is not surprising that the crystal will break, or you may lose it.

It was a profound moment when it landed for me that I was done with the cycle of fear, guilt, shame, and ego dominating me. It was almost a sigh of relief. I never thought I would be thankful to see one of my bowls break, but the significance made so much sense, and I am insanely grateful that the bowl finally did break. I bought that bowl to heal myself, never expecting to play it for others, so I am happy the cycle is complete.

I want to offer you some encouragement that the cycle of wombs can take a long time and take a lot of intentional effort, but once you've arrived, you'll know that you're there, and there may be something significant that breaks to show you that you're done.

This bowl that broke was precious to me, yet there was so much beauty in that.

When you're healing, it's not that you're happy all the time; it's just an acceptance and an understanding that you're not going to get thrown off your center. So if you're in a moment of breaking, know that there is so much beauty behind it. Maybe you can seek some of that for yourself, wherein your life are you noticing things breaking? Take a look around, be present, and be mindful of all the beauty and growth around you.

Stay grounded, get that root chakra activated, let go of the aggression, shame, and guilt, do the work you need to do to heal yourself, and let everything fall into place.

I rise, You rise!
