Journey to Sound

My journey to sound started with a single sound bath session that changed my life; as a therapist myself, and to have experienced something so profound, something I’d never experienced before, I knew it was for me.  This journey has allowed my body to open up and feel something I had been suppressing for so long. It has allowed me to speak my truth, show up authentically, become energetically balanced and fully feel my emotions in a whole embodied way. 

My set of sound bowls started with the obtaining the root chakra bowl, allowing and processing emotions as they came up. As I performed daily for myself, I became more grounded with the universe, beginning my healing journey. 

After the root chakra bowl, I purchased the third eye chakra bowl. As a young child, I remember being intuitive enough to see spirits; however, as I grew, I turned off my intuition because others didn’t believe it to be true. With the third eye chakra bowl, I wanted to reignite gifts that I knew I was born with, tap into my vision and allow myself to receive guidance from Source. As my energy began to flow, I decided that my heart chakra could also use some healing. I knew that my heart was guarded, not allowing me to give or receive love from others entirely. The purchase of the heart chakra bowl allowed me to release my guards and call-in true friendships, genuine and safe intimacy, and most importantly, I started to love myself truly. It was such a beautiful transition in my life; I grew to know that not everyone would love me but that the people who love me will find me.  

Next, I knew it was time to start speaking my truth authentically. Therefore I purchased the throat chakra bowl. I had been suppressing so much of my truth to make others happy; I was a people pleaser. It took some hard gazes in the mirror to realize that I was holding back my truth, not being authentic and just telling people what I thought they wanted to hear. But, as I began to be ME, my entire life started the shift. My truth and authenticity started to shift and grow as I did. 

As I worked through the healing process and became comfortable at each stage, that is when I knew it was time to level up and get uncomfortable again. At this point, I knew it was time to break up old emotions and gain access to my inner wisdom, the wisdom I was born with, and the wisdom of my life experience. With the solar plexus chakra bowl, I could open up space, take down anxieties and fears and allow my body to express and feel instead of holding emotions in. As a result, my life started to ebb and flow easily. It was a total embodied moment where every cell in my body felt the emotions as they happened. 

Once I reached this point, I decided it was time to invest in the complete set and bought the remaining bowls, the sacral and crown. My soul intention with the sound bowls was to perform for myself and my son Quinn, allowing for generational healing early on. In addition, I wanted to provide a foundation of energetic connection, which I never received as a young child. 

As I started playing for a few friends, my gift was becoming online more potent than ever before. I had never considered offering sound baths as a service until people started inquiring, and I knew this was a calling from God, perfectly timed. Had I not taken the time to go through the healing process that I did, I would not have been able to help others heal. The healing, connection, and authenticity I started to witness within others was a pleasure. I know this was a gift for my life because it was not part of my plan. But, God gave me a calling, and I decided to take action. This is your calling to take action too.
